Junior Holiday Windsurfing Courses

Windsurfing offers a thrilling and engaging way for juniors aged 8–16 to get active on the water. Our 5-day holiday courses follow the RYA junior windsurfing syllabus, helping children gain confidence, balance, and core skills at every stage of their journey. With friendly, qualified instructors and all equipment provided, young windsurfers will progress in a supportive and energetic environment at Farmoor Reservoir.

Whether your child is stepping onto a board for the first time or working toward more advanced control, we offer the right level to help them grow and enjoy their time on the water.

Windsurfing Stage 1

Windsurfing Stage 1 (5-Day)

This beginner-level course is ideal for juniors who are new to windsurfing. They’ll learn how to control the sail, steer, balance, and return to shore in light conditions — all through fun and active instruction.

  • Previous experience required: None
  • Course times: 09:30–16:30 (Mon–Fri)
  • Teaching ratio: 6:1
  • Logbook: logbook available at checkout

Windsurfing Stage 2 & 3 (5-Day)

This course is for juniors who’ve completed Stage 1 and are ready to develop their skills further. They’ll work on stance, harnessing the wind, tacking and gybing in more varied conditions — and enjoy a new level of independence on the board.

  • Previous experience required: Stage 1
  • Course times: 09:30–16:30
  • Teaching ratio: 6:1
  • Logbook: Bring existing logbook
