Junior Weekend Powerboating

Introduction

Our Junior Weekend Powerboating course is ideal for young people aged 12 and above who want to learn to handle a powerboat with skill and confidence. Delivered at Farmoor Reservoir as part of our Junior Weekend Courses, this RYA Level 2 course offers hands-on experience using a RIB on inland water. Young participants learn essential safety, control at speed, and manoeuvres — all in a structured and supportive setting led by qualified instructors.

Junior Powerboat Level 2 (Weekend)

This RYA Level 2 course gives juniors hands-on experience driving a powerboat. They’ll learn how to control a RIB at both high and low speeds, complete manoeuvres like figure eights and turns, and understand basic navigation and safety. It’s the ideal foundation for young people wanting to handle powerboats confidently and responsibly.
