Center Manager

Paul Jamieson


Paul Jamieson is the Manager of Oxford Sail Training Trust (OSTT), where he leads a team
of instructors and volunteers delivering high-quality, inclusive sailing programmes. Under his
leadership, OSTT has grown significantly, expanding its charitable State Schools Sailing
Programme and helping accessible initiatives like Sailability.

Known for his supportive and professional approach, Paul plays a key role in developing the
Young Leaders Programme and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. His passion for
watersports and youth development continues to shape OSTT as a leading centre for
community sailing in Oxfordshire.

In addition to his role at OSTT, Paul is also the Technical Director and co-founder of
Whitedot Skis, a ski manufacturer specialising in freeride skis. His passion for skiing and
commitment to quality have positioned Whitedot as a respected brand among freeride
enthusiasts.

Chief Instructor

Paddy Boyce


Paddy Boyce is the Chief Instructor at Oxford Sail Training Trust (OSTT), where he oversees
the day-to-day running of courses and supports the development of instructors and the
young leaders program. With many years of experience at the centre, Paddy plays a key role
in maintaining a high standard of training and ensuring sessions are safe, inclusive, and
enjoyable for all participants.

Known for his calm, practical approach, Paddy brings a strong background in both dinghy
sailing and windsurfing. He previously competed at national and international level in
windsurfing, and studied oceanography at the University of Southampton, where he was
social secretary of the university windsurfing club, organising events and club trips. His
combination of competitive experience and enthusiasm for coaching continues to shape the
training environment at OSTT.

Senior Activities Instructor

Harry Barker


Harry plays a key role in leading our on-the-water activities at Oxford Sail Training Trust. A
dedicated and highly skilled sailor, he brings a wealth of experience from competing
internationally, along with a passion for helping others grow through sailing and outdoor
education.

With a strong background in youth instruction, Harry creates a supportive and engaging
environment where participants of all ages can build confidence, learn new skills, and have
fun on the water. His enthusiasm, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the sport make
him an invaluable part of the OSTT team.

In addition to his work on the water, Harry is also an emerging visual artist. He holds a BA in
Fine Art: Painting and Drawing from the University of Northampton, and his artistic practice
focuses on photorealistic, monochromatic depictions of the human form. His work reflects
the same discipline and attention to detail that he brings to his sailing instruction.
Most recently, Harry has taken up wingfoiling—one of the newest and most exciting
watersports, demonstrating his love of challenge and commitment to staying at the forefront
of the sailing world.
