Junior Holiday Wing Courses

Our Junior Wing Courses are ideal for teens aged 12–16 who want to experience one of the most exciting watersports on offer. These 5-day courses give young people the opportunity to explore the basics of wing handling on land and water, progressing into controlled movement and board balance. Sessions are safe, fun, and packed with energy, all set at Farmoor Reservoir under the guidance of qualified instructors.

Courses are grouped by ability level so teens can move at a pace that suits them, whether they’re curious beginners or returning to improve on what they’ve already learned.

Multi-Activity Wing Skills (5-Day)

A relaxed and fun introduction to wing sports. Students develop fundamental handling skills on land and water, with plenty of variety throughout the week. This course also includes group games and paddlesport activities.

  • Course times: 09:30–16:30 (Mon–Fri)
  • Teaching ratio: 4:1

Junior Learn-To-Wing (Weekend)

This course provides structured learning for teens new to wingsurfing. Participants learn how to manage the wing on land, steer on the water, and ride safely in light winds using purpose-built boards and rigs.

  • Teaching ratio: 4:1

Junior Improver Wing (Weekend)

Designed for returning students, this course focuses on developing board control, balance, transitions and directional movement. Ideal for those who have completed Learn-To-Wing and want to refine technique.

  • Teaching ratio: 4:1

No. Our Learn-To-Wing and Wing Skills courses are designed for complete beginners aged 12–16.

Multi-Activity includes a mix of games and paddling, while Learn-To-Wing is more focused on technical progression and skill-building.

Yes. We provide wing boards, sails, wetsuits and buoyancy aids. Participants need only bring swimwear, lunch, and a towel.
