Junior Holiday Multi-Activity Courses

Our Junior Multi-Activity Courses are perfect for young people aged 8–16 who want variety and adventure on the water. These 5-day courses combine structured sailing or wing instruction with fun, team-based challenges, offering the best of both worlds. Based at Farmoor Reservoir, all sessions are led by qualified instructors in a safe and friendly setting.

Whether your child is new to watersports or looking to build on previous experience, these courses give them the chance to develop confidence, make new friends, and enjoy an exciting school break.

Multi-Activity Sailing Stage 1 (5-Day)

A beginner-friendly course introducing juniors to the fundamentals of sailing. Over five days, they’ll learn how to rig a boat, steer, balance, and enjoy paddling and onshore games as part of a well-rounded holiday experience.

  • Previous experience required: None
  • Course times: 09:30–16:30 (Mon–Fri)
  • Teaching ratio: 6:1
Multi-Activity Stage 2

Multi-Activity Sailing Stage 2 (5-Day)

Designed for juniors who’ve completed Stage 1 and want to refine their technique. This course blends further sailing skills with extra water-based games, paddle activities, and shore-based teamwork.

  • Previous experience required: Stage 1
  • Course times: 09:30–16:30 (Mon–Fri)
  • Teaching ratio: 6:1
  • Logbook: Bring existing logbook

Multi-Activity Wing Skills (5-Day)

This course introduces young people to the exciting world of wing-based watersports. Across five days, they’ll learn the basics of handling a wing on land and water, while also taking part in team games and paddleboard fun.

  • Teaching ratio: 4:1

Yes, your child will need to choose between sailing or wing activities for their sessions. Each pathway focuses on different skills, equipment, and progression routes, so selecting one allows them to get the most out of their time on the water. If they’re unsure which to pick, we’re happy to help guide the decision based on their interests and experience.

Yes. Both Stage 1 and the Wing Skills course are beginner-friendly. Stage 2 is ideal for those with previous experience.

Just swimwear, a towel and lunch. We provide wetsuits, buoyancy aids and all other kit.
