Junior weekend sailing course (Stage 1)
The stage 1 course is the perfect start for any young person over the age of 8. It teaches them how to rig a boat and sail those first exciting adventures safely. We ensure they have every opportunity to learn in a safe and fun environment. By the end of the introductory course, participants will have a basic understanding of how a boat sails, and some experience of steering and handling a boat. Please note this is a 2 day course.
Junior weekend sailing course (Stage 2)
Our stage 2 course will complete your introduction to the sport in easy stages. By the end of this course, you will have a range of sailing skills and background knowledge, and be well on your way to being a confident small boat sailor. Please note this is a 2 day course.
Junior weekend sailing course (Stage 3)
Our more advanced sailing course for those who have taken Stages 1 and 2. Having completed stage 3 you will be able to rig and launch your boat and can regard yourself as a sailor, not a beginner. Please note this is a 2 day course.
Junior weekend sailing course (Stage 4)
Stage 4 will focus on building on your skills from Stage 3, but with more emphasis on sailing double handed boats whilst solving a variety of problems afloat. Completing this course is the natural step to our advanced Speed, Race and Skills week courses. Please note this is a 2 day course.
